August 25th marks the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s speech, “I have a dream”.

I have produced this blog post in two formats. You can watch the video here, or yu can keep reading the text below the video. Either way, be sure you sign up for the training videos, by filling in your name and email address in the form at the bottom of this post.

This was one of the most important speeches in the 20th century for the USA. I was 18 years old when Dr. King made that speech. And since I’m a Canadian, I did not hear the speech live. I was working at a summer job, so I could pay my University tuition fees.

However, I do remember all of the news broadcasts after the speech, and what a great and stirring speech it was, and what a profound effect it had on America.

If you have never heard the speech, then I highly recommend you listen to it. Simply go to Youtube and type in “I have a dream”, and you’ll get a number of ways to watch it.

My question to you today is; “Do you have a dream?”,

because I do, for you.

First of all, I do not want to take anything away from Dr. King’s speech, by thinking that what I say here is even remotely significant to what Dr. King was saying.

However, it could be very significant for you, because I want to talk today about your business – your company.

What is my dream?

I have a dream that I can help B2B business owners around the world, grow their business to what their dream is of that business.

Did you know that over 25% of businesses fail within the first year; over 56% of businesses fail within the first five years, and that statistic rises to over 71% after ten years. (Source: Entrepreneur Weekly, Small Business Development Center, Bradley Univ, University of Tennessee Research)

I have a dream that these business owners that could go out of business, stay in that business, and make it flourish.

There are a number of reasons that businesses fail; lack of capital is of course a big reason; being in the wrong business is another. But two big reasons that businesses fail are;
1. Lack of market awareness, and
2. Lack of focus.

I want to talk to you today about these two reasons, because I believe I can help you with both of these reasons. Why? Because I have a dream – to help you make your business successful.

The lack of market awareness boils down to not having the right sales and marketing strategies and tactics in place. And lack of focus means that there are no business or marketing plans in place.

Do either of these two factors ring a bell for you and your business? Because if they do make sense, then I have some good news for you,

And because I have a dream.

My dream is to make you successful, by helping you bring focus and marketplace awareness to your business.

I have just produced some videos around these themes. If you are interested in watching these videos, to ensure your company isn’t in one of those statistics mentioned earlier, but more importantly, that your company thrives, then you can watch the first video here.

And BTW, this video is not strictly for CEO’s and business owners. Anyone in marketing and sales will also benefit from this video series.

Simply put your name and email address in the boxes below and you will be taken straight to the video.

Kind regards,
